Oliver Wakeman is an award-winning musician, composer and live performer known as an out-standing piano/keyboard virtuoso. He is also the eldest son of progressive rock legend, Rick Wakeman. 'Anam Cara' is Oliver's 11th studio album, the name referring to the Celtic concept of a Soul Friend. Featuring a stellar collection of musicians, including Troy Donockley (Nightwish), Hayley Griffiths (Riverdance), Oliver Day (Fragile), Scott Higham (Pendragon) to name but a few. A fusion of Celtic rock and progressive tendencies. Featuring ten beautiful songs which span ballads, atmospheric rock songs and epic tracks.
